Adriane Wenceslao
Gymnastics Coach
Growing up in Michigan, I cherished simple traditions like fresh apple cider in the fall. From a young age, I was always active, with sports shaping much of who I became. In school, I discovered a love for tumbling, and by the time I was named co-captain of my wrestling team, it felt natural to step into a coaching role. In 2005, I began coaching tumbling, which opened the door to a lifelong passion for teaching and mentoring athletes.
As I explored different forms of exercise and group fitness, I pursued a degree in Exercise Science from Oakland Community College. That foundation strengthened my ability to design effective, purposeful training that helps athletes grow both in skill and character.
My mission as a coach is to push athletes to reach beyond their current limits, fostering not only physical growth but also mental resilience and a love for the process of learning. I believe in teaching the whole athlete — mind, body, and spirit. Sports are more than physical; they shape knowledge, emotions, social skills, and discipline. I am committed to meeting each athlete where they are and creating a personalized plan that supports their unique journey, regardless of background, ability, or challenge.
At the heart of everything I do is my faith. I live a Christ-centered life and draw strength and passion from my relationship with God. It is this faith that inspires me to serve others, encourage growth, and guide athletes toward living healthy, balanced, and purposeful lives.
